Increasing biodiversity, food diversity and indigenous technologies in disaster prone areas have been a challenge in Malawi for the past decades.
Currently under construction this school in Moshi, Tanzania will service 800 secondary students upon its completion.
In early 2014 construction on a new school in Onwe, Ghana began and by February 2015 it was realized that student body had quickly outgrown the available space. In March of 2015 OEDI issued a 50,000 USD grant to expand the school and by mid-year construction was completed.
In response to this outbreak OEDI in conjunction with it's In Country Coordinators in Ghana established nine preventative care clinics. The main goal of these clinics is education on prevention, signs of an Ebola infection and early alert for potentially effected communities.
